Venkata Ramana (Venkatesh) is a ventriloquist. Marriage is the only problem like his earlier films. On a trip to Paris with a team, he finds his ‘Dream Girl’ Pooja (Trisha) and falls in love with her, she is the niece of the event organizer Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam), a typical person who wants make fun out of everyone.

Meanwhile, Pooja’s family tries to do her marriage with Bhadrappa (Subba Raju), rest of the story deals with how Venkata Ramana got Pooja’s love, after a lot of routine twists.

The film was Venkatesh’s one man show all the way and he has carried it dutifully, Trisha looks not so glamorous like her earlier films like ‘King’ and she doesn’t have much scope to perform. Brahmanandam comedy is okay in parts, first time he came up with a character with negative shades.

In publicity, we can find that “She’s hot, He’s cool and Bramhi a fool” but in the movie Brahmi makes a fool of the heroin and even the hero himself! Too much of repetitive scenes make audience displease, except for a few laughs here and there. Master Bharat’s character is not hilarious like his earlier Srinu Vytla’s films.

It’s very hard to find a fresh scene in this film, the film can be titled as ‘Dhee 3’, as it’s in the same lines of his earlier films  ‘Dhee’ and ‘Ready’, Prasad’s cinematography is good and Varma’s editing should have been better, Dialogues are adequate. Devi Sri Prasad’s music and songs picturisation is a big letdown.

On the whole, the film is not up to the mark in Srinu Vytla, Venkatesh, Brahmanandam combination, it’s an average fare, you can watch it once if you miss ‘Dhee’ and ‘Ready’

Nonstop Cinema Rating: 2.75/5

Ya, it’s really boring film in recent times, The statements like “Venkatesh Viswarupam Chustharu” from Srinu Vytla made expectations more…, but “Asalu mattere ledu, inka viswarupam yekkada?”

  2. Ravi Says:

Hollywood is growing with films like Avatar, even Bollywood experimenting with films like 3 Idiots, but our Telugu film makers are still stuck with DDLJ, they may think its an wonderful story, which is created by themselves, so pity.

It is a fantastic film. It will break all the records in Indian film industry. It will make a boxoffice collection of 300 crores
