The chubby actress Genelia D’Souza has finally joined the bandwagon of Bollywood ladies in endorsing fairness creams. She is already the face of Virgin mobiles, but now has gone on to sign a fairness cream brand. The bubbly actress, who stole everyone’s heart with her performance in Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na, is now endorsing Garnier’s new product, ‘Garnier Light’ which is a skin lightening lotion.

The fairness cream market already has a host of Bollywood beauties endorsing various brands. While Deepika Padukone is the brand ambassador of Johnson and Johnson’s new fairness cream ‘Neutrogena Fine Fairness’, Sonam Kapoor is the face of ‘L’Oreal White Perfect’.

Even Katrina Kaif is the face of Olay skin whitening cream. Now with this endorsement, Genelia too seems has joined the race to decide, ‘Who’s the fairest of them all ?

Genelia D’Souza has denied a Mumbai tabloid report that she and Ritesh Deshmukh were set to tie the knot.

Mid-Day had earlier reported that Genelia and Ritesh planned to marry in July 2010.

Refuting the claim, Genelia tweeted minutes ago:

No guys Im nt at al gettn married, sum irrespnsible journo is respnsible4dis news n its sad dat dey posses no ethics n smply fabricate stuff

Interestingly, Genelia, 22, did not refute that she is dating Ritesh, 31. The pair first met on the set of their 2003 film Tujhe Meri Kasam.

A source told Mid-Day that the Deshmukh family consented to the wedding after initially opposing it on account of Genelia (‘Genes’ for Ritesh) not being a Maratha girl.

Genelia and Ritesh have reportedly been dating for the last six years and have purchased property together at Pali Hills.

“Riteish being an architect has been busy hunting property for the last few months. In fact, he and Genelia have sat down and designed the interiors. Some of their close friends have even seen the blueprint and it looks very impressive,” says the Mid-Day source.

The wedding report was said to be the hot topic of discussion during a dinner hosted by Ritesh on Sunday that was attended by, amidst others, Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri, Karan Johar, Sajid Khan and Kajal Anand.
